As members of the ICT Startup League, we participated in the Japan Expo Malaysia 2025, a comprehensive event, which took place from July 18 to July 20 in Kuala Lumpur. The event showcased Japanese businesses and content. During the event, we had an exhibition booth and built relationships with local companies.

ICT Startup League Exhibition Booth
Our visit to Malaysia aimed to foster an environment that continuously supports startup companies overseas and to promote the content and the members of the ICT Startup League. Many local companies visited our exhibition booth, asking questions about our members and the program itself, which helped raise awareness of the program.
Furthermore, as agriculture and urban development are booming in Malaysia, two companies from ICT Startup League showcased their products and services at the league's booth. Nefront Inc., selected in the programs of FY 2023, 2024, and 2025, develops systems that link and manage indoor spatial information. Harvest X Inc., also selected in the program of FY 2023, is pioneering the full automation of strawberry production in artificial light-type plant factories using AI-based robotic pollination technology. Numerous business negotiations were conducted with local companies that visited the booth, fostering connections with overseas businesses.

Meetings with local companies
In addition to having an exhibition booth, we held meetings with local companies in cooperation with the event organizer, G-Yu Creative Inc. These meetings were held with Cradle Seed Ventures, a Malaysian startup support organization that provides investments and grants primarily to technology-related companies, and SUNWAY INNOVATION LABS, the accelerator division of the Malaysian major conglomerate SUNWAY Group. During these meetings, Nefront Inc. and Harvest X Inc. presented their services.
Cradle Seed Ventures also expressed interest in collaborating with the ICT Startup League, as they invest in Malaysian startups to develop a startup ecosystem.
The ICT Startup League and Cradle Seed Ventures will collaborate to promote the international expansion of Malaysian and Japanese startups.

Launched the first Malaysia Startup League event
During the Japan Expo Malaysia 2025, the Malaysia Startup League was hosted by Japan Expo Malaysia in collaboration with the ICT Startup League which served as the special program sponsor. Twenty finalist startups that passed the preliminary round participated in a pitch session, alongside local startups interested in expanding their businesses to Japan. The large number of startups focusing on biotech and agritech reflects Malaysia's strong interest in environmental issues and agriculture. The ICT Startup League will continue to work with these startups.
Additionally, Nefront Inc. and Harvest X Inc. gave the three-minute presentations at the pitch contest exhibition to introduce their businesses. Following the presentations, many local companies expressed interest and engaged in business discussions.

We not only exhibited at the booth but also had the opportunity to promote expanding our business to Malaysia through meetings and discussions with local companies.
The ICT Startup League will continue to support its members in expanding their businesses overseas in cooperation with various organizations abroad.
