Development of SR (Super Real) 3D monitoring system for minimally invasive surgery
In the future, minimally invasive surgery, which reduces patient burden and shortens hospital stays, will become the mainstream approach to surgical procedures. To achieve this, it is essential to improve the safety and efficiency of surgery by fundamentally improving the visibility and operability of surgical monitors. Additionally, this is crucial as a countermeasure against the severe shortage of surgeons. In this league, we will develop an SR 3D monitor system for minimally invasive surgery to achieve these goals. Utilizing our proprietary semantic-type 3D visual information transmission technology, we will realize the dual objectives of “accurate spatial cognition of the surgical field” and “overall situational awareness of the surgery,” thereby contributing to the future of surgical medicine.
