Development of an "Impact Management Tool" to visualize the social impact of projects and policies
In order to solve the multiple issues that exist in the existing public-private partnership method known as "Social Impact Bond (SIB)," which combines a mechanism called Pay For Success (PFS) used when local governments commission projects to the private sector with funding from investors, we are working on research into a new concept and method called "Micro Impact Bond (MIB)." Specifically, we are conducting research and development into two social technologies: 1) drastically reducing the costs of designing impact indicators and impact evaluation by developing social impact management tools, and 2) promoting citizen participation by purchasing small amounts of bonds through the use of digital bonds.
