Research, development, and demonstration of the indoor AR cloud service IndooAR
IndooAR, an indoor AR cloud service, identifies indoor location information based on smartphone camera information, guides you to the location of a specified item, and displays AR content according to the location. IndooAR's features include image-based location information that can be used to identify locations indoors such as shopping malls, underground shopping malls, and exhibitions, and the system can provide applications by registering destination and item information, route information, content information, etc. As a platform that links real space and information space, we aim to provide a foundation for applications that are useful to many people, from people who are having trouble finding products or stores, to customers such as tourists visiting Japan and foreign residents who do not understand Japanese, to work support such as picking and construction. Through the subsidy project, we will conduct research and development and demonstration experiments for practical use in various use cases and work toward practical use.
